On Thursday, 20th May, our colleague Marta Olivares participated in the reading club “NutriLecturas” coordinated by Dr. Jara Pérez from ICTAN-CSIC.
“NutriLecturas” is an initiative supported by the FECYT and aims to promote open scientific reading clubs in research centers. Through her participation in this initiative, Marta Olivares discussed different nutrition and intestinal microbiota aspects with the reading club participants. The discussion was related to the outreach book “What do we know about coeliac disease?” (Editorial Catarata).
The session was moderated by Dr. Elena Peñas, a researcher at the ICTAN-CSIC, and with deep expertise in the development of gluten-free foods, who also gave some insights regarding the future of foods for the coeliac population.
