On 27 April our IATA-CSIC research group attended the annual consortium meeting of the European project CIRCLES: Control of microbiome circulation to improve food systems, part of the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Union. Due to the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the meeting was held in an online format. In the context of a European initiative 'EIT-FOOD', our research group, and especially Marta Olivares and Rebeca Liébana, have participated in the development of a MOOC (Massive On-line Open Course) together with collaborators from the University of Turin (Italy), Microbion (Italy), Quadram institute (UK) and the University of Reading (UK).
